please keep some allowance when making a decision for your space. for designs from our collections that are to fit within your custom joinery/design or for custom designed objects from 71bay, you can contact us with any queries on hello@71-bay.com before placing your order.  

c h a n g e  o f  m i n d 

please note that we do not accept returns for a change of mind. we pay fair wages to our artisans & partners and each order we place translates directly into employment opportunities and a chance at change & empowerment. all orders placed by 71bay are paid for in advance. 

d a m a g e d  /  f a u l t y  i t e m s  

please note that slight variations are true to the handmade nature of our objects & wares. this does not constitute as a fault or damage and does not warrant a return. all items are made of the highest quality raw materials and go through rigorous quality check in multiple stages from the time of production to dispatch.    

items are classified as faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault becomes apparent within 2-weeks of purchase. 

if you would like to exchange a faulty item, we can only replace it for the same product, subject to availability. if you receive damaged or faulty items, please contact us, with a photo and details of the fault within 48 hrs of receiving your parcel. where the object is determined to be damaged or faulty, we will cover the costs of postage; if not, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. 

items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. please refer to our care instructions for the best way to look after your product.  

r e t u r n 

where the items is determined to be damaged or faulty, they should be returned in their original packaging to make sure they are protected in transit. tracking details must be emailed to 71bay at the time of dispatch. we are not responsible for any returns that are lost in transit. 

we recommend that items are returned to us via courier to ensure that they are protected / insured during transit. you can return items by other secure services also but will require to contact us in regards to such returns, prior to processing the return.  

please note that we may not accept liability for goods that are not returned via courier. 

items should be returned within 14-days of receiving your order. for any returns outside of this timeframe, please contact us as this may be accepted at our discretion.  

r e f u n d  

your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser's credit card or returned to your Paypal account. cost of return, with the exception for faulty items, will be deducted from this to cover the costs of return delivery.  

we offer 110% credit notes that can be used across any of our collections.

we do not offer returns/refunds on sale or discounted items. 

i n t e r n a t i o n a l  o r d e r s 

if an international order is not received we will credit for the product cost or send a replacement item. shipping/handling charges are not included in this. 71bay is not responsible for any taxes/duties & custom requirements applicable in the recipient's country.
